Types of Invisalign^®

• Invisalign^® Comprehensive: This version of Invisalign^® uses clear plastic aligners in place of traditional braces (where appropriate) to fix major orthodontic problems. If Invisalign^® treatment is right for you, we’ll begin by taking impressions of your teeth so we can get your aligners custom-made. Every two weeks you’ll need to change these aligners as each set works to gently guide your teeth into their correct position.
• Fast Invisalign^® treatment: Invisalign^® offers two fast treatment options for minor orthodontic cases affecting the front six teeth. Invisalign Lite can get great results in as little as six months; Invisalign^® Express uses the same method but can get results in as little as three months. Invisalign^® Lite and Invisalign^® Express are only suitable for minor orthodontic cases affecting the six front teeth. 
• Invisalign^® First: This version of Invisalign is designed for children. At One Smile Orthodontics we encourage children to come in for an early orthodontic consultation. If, at this consultation, they present with signs of potential orthodontic issues, we can take a proactive approach and provide some preliminary treatment using Invisalign^® First aligners. 

Invisalign^® is also suitable for teenage patients. We can fit a blue dot wear indicator to each set of aligners to help you and your teen keep track of the hours spend wearing them. For ultimate results, Invisalign^® aligners should be worn for 22 hours a day.

No, Invisalign^® treatment isn’t painful because the custom-made aligners work to gently move your teeth into the correct position. When you change your aligners you may experience slight discomfort as your teeth begin to readjust but this can be treated with over-the-counter painkillers. 

How much does Invisalign^® cost?

We will be able to give you a quote for Invisalign^® treatment after your free consultation as we will then know the extent of treatment you require. Invisalign is slightly more expensive than traditional metal braces but we have payment plans available to help you with the cost. 

Will Invisalign^® impact on my lifestyle?
